Separate Homes for Men and Women
This is the first thing many people ask us, so we want to be clear: Liberty House is not a co-ed house. Our men’s and women’s homes are separate buildings at separate locations. Men live with men. Women live with women. Each home has its own house manager and room for about 20 residents.

Women's Sober Living in Fort Lauderdale
If you are a woman looking for a sober home, Liberty House has a women’s home that is just for women, with its own house manager and room for about 20 women. You will live with other women who are working the same program you are, in a house that is clean, calm and structured.

What Daily Life at Liberty House Looks Like
Our sober living program gives you structure without taking away your freedom. You are expected to:
• Stay completely sober, with regular drug and alcohol testing
• Keep curfew and help with household chores
• Go to meetings and work the 12 Steps with a sponsor
• Stay in regular contact with your sober supports
• Look for work, or keep the job you have
In return you get weekly group sessions, relapse prevention education and support, 12-Step meetings on the property, an outdoor gym and barbecue area, and a real community of people who want you to make it. There is no set date you have to leave. You can stay as long as you need, as long as you follow the house rules and stay sober.

Many people come to us right after finishing an inpatient or outpatient program, and our program starts where that one ends.
