At Liberty House, we provide a safe, supportive and structured environment for men and women looking to achieve lasting recovery. Our residential facility is involved in 12-Step recovery groups on premises as well as meetings and AA/NA clubhouses just a few blocks away. Liberty House is ideally located in the heart of Fort Lauderdale just steps away from the beach, dining, shopping and employment opportunities.
For many people, the most difficult aspect of an addiction recovery program is remaining clean and sober after the inpatient program ends. In fact, according to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, 40 to 60 percent of drug addicts revert back to drug abuse after rehab. For some drugs, the statistics are even more grim, with relapse rates for drugs such as opiates approaching 85 percent in some studies. The reasons for this vary, but the most common factor is a lack of preparation for the outside world. Recovering addicts are caught off guard by triggers from which they were protected during treatment, such as dug-abusing friends, old party hangouts and the stress of everyday life.
Fortunately, Liberty House is here to provide hope. Our sober living house is located in Fort Lauderdale, Fl, and we provide services for men and women in early recovery from drug and alcohol addictions.
Our program starts where your 30-day rehabilitation program ends, helping you to become successful not only in recovery, but also in life. We will assist you in learning to practice the 12 steps as a lifestyle rather than simply a recovery model, enabling you to achieve lasting sobriety long after your stay at Liberty House ends. To support this goal, we offer 12-step meetings on-site as well as weekly support sessions, and we encourage residents to attend other meetings at one of the AA or NA clubhouses located just a few blocks away. We also provide relapse prevention services, including regular drug and alcohol testing.
